Your mentor will review your portfolio, digitals, or social presence and share feedback on how you're presenting yourself to agencies and clients.

About Angus

Angus Munro is an internationally renowned casting and creative director whose career spans more than three decades across model management, talent discovery, fashion casting, editorial, advertising, and runway.

Angus began his career in London in the 1990s at Elite Premier, initially working as Director of New Faces before becoming Head Booker. His early years in model management gave him firsthand experience discovering, developing, and representing talent before he transitioned into casting, working closely with acclaimed photographer David Sims and later founding AM Casting.

Since then, Angus has become one of the fashion industry’s most established casting directors, helping shape the visual identity of some of the world’s most influential designers, brands, and publications. His extensive body of work includes collaborations with Rick Owens, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Off-White, Calvin Klein, and many others, spanning runway shows, global campaigns, editorials, and special projects.

Throughout his career, Angus has worked at the intersection of talent and creative vision, developing a deep understanding of what makes someone stand out, how talent is discovered and positioned, how casting decisions are made, and how creative teams bring an idea from concept to execution.

How does payment work?

Your card is authorised at checkout but not charged until the mentor confirms your session. If they decline or don't respond, the hold is released automatically and you're never billed.

When will my session be confirmed?

Mentors typically confirm within 24–48 hours. You'll receive an email the moment your booking is approved, along with the session link or location details.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You can cancel or reschedule from your bookings dashboard. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, please reach out to support@talented.nyc.

How do sessions take place?

Sessions are either video (via Zoom) or in-person, depending on the mentor's availability settings. The format is shown when you select a time slot.

Is my information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe — TalentED never stores your card details. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

What do I get after the session?

Every session includes a personalised summary and clear next steps sent to your email within 48 hours of the session completing.
