Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TalentED platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Platform Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform

4. Booking & Payments

All bookings are subject to mentor availability and approval. When you request a booking, a temporary hold is placed on your payment method. You are only charged if the mentor approves the session. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and you agree to Stripe's terms of service in connection with payment transactions.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a pending booking at any time before the mentor approves it. Once a booking is approved, you may cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled session time. Approved bookings cannot be canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled session. No refunds will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows.

If a mentor cancels an approved session, you will receive a full refund automatically.

6. Mentor Responsibilities

Mentors on the Platform are independent contractors, not employees of TalentED. Mentors agree to conduct themselves professionally, honor confirmed bookings, and provide guidance based on their genuine expertise. TalentED does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of any mentoring session.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of TalentED or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

TalentED is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.
