About Louise

Louise de la Tour is a Paris-based fashion designer currently working within the Couture Design Studio at Balenciaga. Since joining the house in 2024, she has focused exclusively on couture collections and runway shows, working under the creative direction of both Demna and Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Louise holds two Master’s degrees in Fashion Design from La Cambre in Brussels and the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris. Before joining Balenciaga, she gained experience at Acne Studios and Chloé, developing her understanding of design processes across leading international fashion houses.

Alongside her work in couture, Louise pursues independent artistic projects that explore experimental and conceptual approaches to clothing through fashion collections, film, and visual storytelling.

On TalentED, Louise offers mentorship to aspiring fashion designers and creatives interested in pursuing careers within luxury fashion and haute couture. She provides guidance on developing a design portfolio, building a distinct creative identity, navigating fashion education, securing internships, and understanding the design processes within major fashion houses. Drawing from her experience in both academic and professional settings, she helps emerging designers navigate the transition from fashion school to working in the industry.

How does payment work?
Your card is authorised at checkout but not charged until the mentor confirms your session. If they decline or don't respond, the hold is released automatically and you're never billed.
When will my session be confirmed?
Mentors typically confirm within 24–48 hours. You'll receive an email the moment your booking is approved, along with the session link or location details.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You can cancel or reschedule from your bookings dashboard up to 24 hours before a session. You aren't charged until your mentor accepts your first session. After that, a cancelled session goes back to your order to book again. There are no automatic refunds; for credit, reach out to support@talented.nyc.
How do sessions take place?
Sessions are either video (via Zoom) or in-person, depending on the mentor's availability settings. The format is shown when you select a time slot.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe — TalentED never stores your card details. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What do I get after the session?
Every session includes a personalised summary and clear next steps sent to your email within 48 hours of the session completing.
