Biography

Luka Booth is a British photographer and Art Director based between London/Paris, whose work blends fine art, fashion, and cinematic storytelling. Originally trained in fine art painting and art history, Luka transitioned into photography in 2019, bringing a painter’s eye into the world of fashion imagery. His background in dance and performance heavily influences his visual language, giving his work a strong sense of movement, emotion, and theatricality.

Known for dreamlike compositions and atmospheric imagery, Luka often experiments with long exposures, texture, and hand colored techniques to create photographs that feel suspended between reality and fantasy. His work draws inspiration from both classical art and contemporary fashion, resulting in visuals that feel emotionally charged while remaining editorially sharp.

Luka’s photography has been featured in major international publications including Vogue Covers, 10 Magazine, GQ covers , and Hube Magazine. He has also worked across campaigns, editorials, and creative projects as both photographer and art director, developing a distinct recognisable visual identity.

On TalentED, Luka offers insight into fashion photography through the lens of fine art and storytelling. His mentorship focuses on developing visual identity, directing talent on set, understanding composition and mood, and creating imagery that feels intentional rather than disposable. He approaches photography not just as documentation, but as world building.
